3D Multi-Touch interface Coming to Nokia Soon

Although the much anticipated Nokia N900 is still in the pipeline, Nokia are already looking beyond multi-touch and seems to be working on 3D Multi-Touch interface for Mobile phones.

According to a recent Patent Filing by them, the screen not only reacts to your finger movements, but also to the strength with which your finger puts pressure on the screen.

Imagine pressing a key strongly to simulate a double tap, or activating any secondary function like deleting your SMS/emails that would generally require 2 or more clicks.
