Airtel, Vodafone, Idea To follow DoCoMo’s League

Tata Docomo introduced revolutionary pay-per second and has been huge success since then. Tata Docomo has managed to add half a million subscribers in just a month of their launch.

Soon all other telecom regulators Vodafone, Airtel, Idea and others, will have to follow the suit, according to sector regulator TRAI’s new rules. “We may ask all the operators to consider per-second pulse as a mandatory tariff option along with their other tariff plans,” Telecom Regulatory Authority of India chairman J S Sarma told reporters on the sidelines of the International Telecommunication Union conference.

Though it is not yet clear, about current plans offers by service providers. Not all customers want to avail the per-second pay plan.  Many are happy with their existent plans.

Would you shift to pay-per second plan or stick to your existent plan?

DOCOMO has launched and created news by the number of subsribers and even launching 3G in a short period of time. But no one has taken its feed back from the original users yet. You may not find even 20% of its users satisfactory. Network Problems, call drops, inferior sound quality and wrong announcements indicating the mobile is switched off instead of out of coverage etc. I have subscribed for nearly 50 connections for my employees and surrendered all the connections after suffering from TATA DOCOMO for 6 months. The network is cheap with regard to charges as well as services.
