Android 2.1 Soon Coming to HTC Hero?
HTC had promised an upgrade to Firmware 2.0 on its “Hero” Handset, once it figures out how to port its Sense UI to run on the newer firmware “Eclair”.
However the latest screenshots of HTC Hero running Android OS 2.1 which have appeared on the web, depict that HTC is also planning to skip the new “Eclair” firmware and is directly jumping onto Firmware 2.1 of the Android OS which Google is releasing by the end of 2009.
This seems to be an very good sign for anyone who possess a first generation Android phone. What do you think?
