Android Developers Sign Petition
Android developers who pay 30% of the app revenue for the service are quite angry. And why not? The Android Market allows to have only one version of app and not necessarily it is compatible with all the versions of Android. And with Google launching new Android OS version with the speed of light, it frustrates the developers. Some highlights of the petition: So if you are an Android developer, go sign it. If you an Android user, go sign it. You may never know, Google hears you.
Google bought Android Inc. back in 2005 and the first phone running on Android OS was launched in 2008. It was accompanied by the Android Market, Google’s equivalent of Apple’s App Store, for developers to publish and users to download applications. The first version of the Market was very basic. Four versions of Android came out, all of them with lots of new features for users and developers – but almost nothing happened on the Market side.

I guess this is the first time that Google's done a product that lacks some of the common functionalities like the ones mentioned above.
I'm not an Android developer, but I hope to be one soon. There's something about the Android that makes it an attractive platform!
