Apple responds to iPad Heat complaints
Though everyone seemed to be happy with the new iPads screen, early adopters also seemed to notice that the new iPad heats up to 10 degrees more than the iPad 2.
This is not the first time, Apple consumers have found fault with any new Apple products. Apple’s iPhone 4 came with its own problem leading to Antenna gate. In the end, Apple ended up issuing a cover to all of its iPhone 4 customers.
In a PR released by Apple, it says that with iPad Apple is still within the allowed thermal specifications.
“The new iPad delivers a stunning Retina display, A5X chip, support for 4G LTE plus 10 hours of battery life, all while operating well within our thermal specifications. If customers have any concerns they should contact AppleCare.”
