BlackBerry Bold 9700 unveiled

RIM today announced the launch of its newest BlackBerry, the BlackBerry Bold 9700. The successor of BlackBerry Bold 9000, BlackBerry Bold 9700 sports a traditional Blackberry keyboard with an optical trackpad similiar to BlackBerry Curve 8520 instead of a trackball.

Important Features of BlackBerry Bold 9700 are:

1. A 480 x 320 HVGA display
2. Full QWERTY Keypad
3. A 624MHz processor
4. 3.2 MP Camera with variable zoom, autofocus, flash and video recording
5. Runs on BlackBerry 5.0 similiar to BlackBerry Storm
6. Updated BB Messenger, and BlackBerry Maps.
7. A 3.5mm Stereo Headset jack along with dedicated volume controls.
8. 256MB Internal Flash memory
9. 32GB microSD/SDHD expandable memory card slot
10. Supports 3G and Wi-Fi
11. 6 Hrs of talk time and 17 days of standby time while in 3G mode
12. Threaded text messaging
