BlackBerry Torch 2 Specs leaked. Still not impressive

BlackBerry thought that it would take the mobile market by storm when they last introduced BlackBerry Torch. But that never happened. BlackBerry wishes to change that by BlackBerry Torch 2. The Torch 2 comes with similar slider QWERTY design but with better specs and silver matte finish.

Specifications:

  • Tri-band HSPA 14.4Mbps
  • 3.2-inch VGA 640 x 480 capacitive display
  • 8GB built-in memory
  • 512MB RAM
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • GPS
  • NFC
  • 5-megapixel camera with flash
  • Magnetometer
  • Accelerometer
  • Proximity sensor
  • 1300 mAh battery
  • BlackBerry OS 6.1
  • OpenGL ES
  • 14.6mm thin

    • Torch came with just 624 Mhz processor and BlackBerry OS 6 while Torch 2 will have whooping 1.2Ghz processor. Still these specs seem to be rather unimpressive to us considering the heaps of Android phones that are launching with better specs. Does these specs impress you?

    Torch 2 will be available by Q3 on AT&T’s network.
