Dell Venue and Dell Venue Pro launched in India with a price tag of Rs 29,990 and Rs 34,990

Dell today announced the launch of Dell Venue and Venue Pro at an Press Conference in Bangalore.

Dell Venue Pro is Dell’s first foray into Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 OS and comes with 4.1″ AMOLED Gorilla Glass screen and a Vertical QWERTY keypad. It also sports a 5 megapixel camera with AutoFocus and 720p video capture and is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon Processor. The Phone comes with a 8GB onboard memory with 512MB RAM, support for Wi-Fi, 3G, A-GPS and microUSB support and is priced at Rs 34,990.

Dell Venue on the other hand is an Android equivalent of Dell Venue Pro and runs on Android 2.2 “Froyo”. It also features the same 4.1″ AMOLED capacitive Gorilla Glass screen as Dell Venue Pro but with an 1GHz Qualcomm QSD 8250 processor, Dell Stage UI, 8 megapixel camera with AutoFocus, 720p Video recording and support for Adobe Flash Player 10.1 . The phone comes with a Price tag of Rs 29,990.
