Firefox for Maemo RC2 Now Available!

A week after the release of the first release candidate (RC1) of Firefox for Maemo, Mozilla has now released the second release candidate of Firefox for Maemo.

The Changelog of Firefox for Maemo RC2 is as follows:

• It has now been updated to latest version of Gecko layout engine i.e. Gecko 1.9.2 RC1, the same version which the upcoming Firefox 3.6 RC1 is using.
• A Major Performance issue on the N900 has been fixed.

If you have already installed RC1 on your Nokia N900 or Nokia N810, you will be receiving a software update shortly.  However if you are of the impatient to get your hands on Firefox for Maemo RC2, you can download and install it from here.
