Foodspotting makes its way to Android

Foodspotting, the popular crowd sourced application for Foodies, which lets you recommend your favorite dishes in a restaurant or find out which amazing dishes is available around you, is now available on Android platform as well now.

The application though is still a lite version, includes all the basic features of Foodspotting i.e. it can be used to find foods around you and gives you ability to upload photos of the dishes that you would like to recommend in a restaurant which then can be shared on various social networking and photo sharing sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and Flickr.

You can also look up whats good in a restaurant and actually view the photo of what that dish looks like, instead of imagining the dish in your head, which I have to say, is quite helpful sometimes ;)

Ofcourse, as with all the new web services, FoodSpotting also comes with a touch of game mechanisms, where in you can win badges and reputation points for good and quality contributions.

So if you are a foodie and have an Android phone, do give it a try by downloading it from the Android Market and let us know what you think of this app.
