Google Maps NYC Subway Maps

Google Maps Team has now added a new layer on Google Maps for Mobile that overlays NYC subway routes on a map.  This is going to greatly help users navigate the New York City subway system very quickly. To view this new layer while viewing a map of New York City, just click the “Layers menu” and then turn on the “Transit Lines” layer.

Also, you can get a step-by-step public transit directions by just using the “Get Directions” menu, and then selecting the Public Transit icon.

To Download this latest version of Google Maps for Mobile along with Layers, just go to m.google.com/maps on your Mobile Device’s default browser.
