Google gives a sneak peek into how Indoor Navigation works in Google Maps at CES

Google Maps had introduced indoor navigation with Google Maps 6.0 last November, however up until now I hadn’t seen a real life implementation of the same.

However, it seems like Google has mapped out the entire CES complex booth by booth, along with malls and ballrooms of the Venetian which houses most of the press events, as discovered by AndroidCommunity. This is a pretty smart move by Google to provide a sneak peek at how Indoor navigation work at an event filled with tech enthusiasts before it is rolled out to other places globally. Google had earlier stated that it intends to roll out this feature to offer mapping inside an airport, shopping mall, retail store, or other public spaces with detailed floor plans.
