GSMA recognizes Samsung Galaxy S II as best smartphone
Samsung Galaxy S II has been awarded as the best smartphone at the GSMA Global Mobile awards held in Barcelona, Spain. The Galaxy S II has beaten contenders like Apple’s iPhone 4S, Nokia Lumia 800, Samsung Galaxy Nexus and HTC Desire S in the same category.
Samsung recently announced that it has sold about 20 million Samsung Galaxy S II since its launch. Samsung also grabbed device manufacturer of the year award.
Apart from that, Apple’s iPad 2 grabbed the Tablet of the year award (iPad 3 is on its way).
