Indian Operators May Skip 3G Altogether

Few days back we had posted about how Sweden would be the first to enjoy 4G network while India still _not_ able to enjoy 3G. No doubt about it, that there has been unimaginable delay in getting 3G technology to India that in few more days we wouldn’t be having 3G phone available.

Now, who is to blame? Is the Government skeptical that Indian telecom operators might not consider buying bandwidth during the auction? Or is government totally scrapping the 3G plans and want to concentrate on 4G launch?

In either ways, we are doubtful that Indian telecom operators might want to invest crores of Rupees in some technology which might go obsolete within a year. After all, parts of the world have already started to enjoy 4G connectivity.
