LG To Launch 20 New Mobile Devices This Year
LG electronics, plans to launch 20 Smartphones this year and not so surprisingly most of them would run on Android OS. Android seems to be getting loads of developers attention these days and thus most of the companies want to bag the success. Success mantra these days for many Mobile manufacturer has been to integrate their hardware with Android. And why not Android really seems to be the next generation OS.
LG in their press release, posted a $256 million profit for the September-December period, reversing a $487 million loss from the same quarter a year ago. But results still fell short of analysts’ expectations of $344 million. LG would now be focusing more on “high end” devices.
