N97 Mini Gets a Minor Firmware Update to v11.0.045
Shortly after the firmware v21 was released for N97, N97 Mini has also got a new firmware update to v11.0.045. You can update your Nokia N97 Mini to the new firmware v11.0.045 using either the inbuilt OTA (Over The Air) method, or the traditional Nokia’s Software Updater Method on your PC. Though Nokia N97 Mini supports UDP (User Data Preservation), we highly recommend you to backup all your phone data, before you start the firmware update, to avoid any accidental data loss. If your device does not detect any new firmware, then relax, because it might have not reached your region product code as yet. The firmware update will eventually roll out to all product codes of Nokia N97 Mini. There has been no specific changelog for this firmware release as yet, but this firmware release supposedly improves the phone’s performance. I have a N97 mini. I don’t see the update on NSU or OTA yet. I’m in Canada with Rogers.

I have a Nokia N97 MINI. I has been giving me problems with WIFI (WLAN). I was able to connect to my friends Wireless WIFI (WLAN) which is not locked, but now all of a sudden everytime when I try to connect to his Wireless WIFI (WLAN) I get a message saying “INVALID SERVER NAME”. My son is able to connect to my friends Wireless WIFI (WLAN) with his Nokia E71 without any problem everytime .
I have done numerous FACTORY RESET (*#7370#) but the problem still persists. (I was told by Nokia Care centre that by doing a FACTORY RESET (*#7370#) it would reverts to how I first purchased this phone.)
It is a very good phone and I would be most grateful if you could help me rectify this problem for me.
