Nokia tops as most exciting youth brand in India
In a survey held by Economic Times, India, Nokia India bagged the first position as the most exciting youth brand in India. Back in 2010, Nokia was still the most popular brand in India closely followed by Samsung.

What’s surprising is, despite the Android hoopla in the Indian market where brands like Micromax advertise their products as “Your first Android phone” and where Samsung’s Android phones have been immensely successful, Nokia has still maintained a hold on the youth. Nokia is currently going through strategic changes globally where it has found a new alliance in Microsoft’s Windows Phone.
Samsung, a close competitor also appears in the list at 12th position. It appears the Nokia’s Brand marketing strategy for its latest Lumia series is getting paid off.
