Nokia X6 and Nokia X3 get Firmware Updates to v21.0.004 (UPDATED with Changelog)

Good News to all Nokia X6 and Nokia X3 Users!

Looks like both the devices have got a firmware update to v21.0.004 from its previous version v20.0.005.

This firmware upgrade comes with updated versions of several applications such as Browser, Mail for Exchange, and Shazam etc. for Nokia X6.Whereas Nokia X3 gets improved battery charging notification and ring and alert tones. Also it is now easier to register your device with Nokia’s Ovi Music Unlimited (previously known as Comes With Music) using pinless activation.

Apart from that, it also comes with many usability improvements and regular bugfixes in video calling.

You can update your Nokia X6/Nokia X3 to the new firmware v21.0.004 using either the inbuilt OTA (Over The Air) method, or via Nokia’s Software Updater on your PC.

Although Nokia X6 has support for UDP (User Data Preservation), we highly recommend you to backup all your phone data, before you kickstart the firmware update to prevent any accidential data loss.

If your device does not detect any new firmware, then don’t fret, it  might be because it has not reached your region product code as yet. This firmware update will eventually roll out to all product codes of Nokia X6/Nokia X3.

There has no official changelog as yet, but we will update you as soon as we find one.
