Pixelpipe for Android 2.0 Now Out

January 11th, 2010 | View Comments | Posted in Android, Android Applications

Pixelpipe has released v2.0 of its Android Application. This client now provides uploading of Photos, Video, Audio & blog/status posts to over 120 supported Pixelpipe services.

Pixelpipe for Android 2.0 also sports some new features like:

  1. One Click Publishing: After the user shoots a picture with the built-in camera, a dialog now pops up that allows the user to add Title, Caption & Tags and thereafter upload it in the background. Users can also select a list of services they’d like to upload to, in a GUI. This feature also now eliminates the problem of having to open up a 3rd party application for uploading after the photo capture.
  2. Automatic publishing: This feature automatically publishes every photo captured in the background. This feature could be very useful for users that are publishing a lifestream or creating an automatic backups of images in services like Evernote, Acrobat.com, Box, or any personal FTP server.

This update is supported by all Android phones right from the Google G1 (running on Android 1.5+) to Motorola Droid & Nexus One.

To Download Pixelpipe on your Android device, head over to Android Market, search for “Pixelpipe” and install it.
