Pixelpipe, has just released a new version 1.5 of its application for the iPhone. Here are some of the new features added to the application:
- Fast start up time: All your media information are now in a small local database and scans for changes only on the launch of the app. You can also now configure the quantity of items (25, 50, 100 or 200) to be preloaded in App Settings which provides huge performance gains for users with large collections.
- Tag caching:The App now caches the new tags and make them available to you for future use, and if you no longer need a tag, you can just swipe to delete it. You can also simply select the “Tags” button to load the list of all the tags you previously have used and select them with just a touch. You Can also enter specific routing tags for your favorite services to override your default services eg. @picasa,@meme would only upload to Picasa and Yahoo Meme.
- Landscape view: The landscape view has now been added throughout the application. Therefore you can now utilize both portrait & landscape views.
- Video capture & Edit: Capturing Pictures from the Camera view now allows you for capture of both photos and videos. Video user can also set the in-point at the time of capture.
