Rogers Wireless Grabbed LG Eve

LG has announced that “Eve” (GW620) handset will be available through an exclusive deal with Rogers Wireless. Eve, is LG’s first Android based phone.

Eve will be available for $49 with a 3-year voice/data agreement on Roger Wireless. It is targeted as a social networking phone and features apps for Social Network Services (SNS) Manager, which ties together a user’sFacebook, twitter, and Bebo account and puts the information in the same place as other (SMS, MMS) messages.

Other features include a 3-inch touchscreen, 5 mega-pixel camera with auto-focus and LED Flash, a 5 line QWERTY keypad, Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi.
