Rumor: Nokia X10 – First Symbian^3 Powered Smartphone?

We anticipated that Nokia would launch its first Symbian^3 powered device — N8 at the MWC, but that didn’t happen. A German site, broke the news that Nokia X10 from its X-series phones, might be the first  Symbian^3 powered device. From the video the features of the phone could be:

Features:

  • QWERTY keyboard
  • Symbian^3 OS
  • Cortex A8 CPU at 600MHz
  • 32GB or 16GB of internal memory
  • 256MB RAM
  • 3.2" AMOLED capacitive touchscreen
  • 5 Mega Pixel camera
  • 3G with HSDPA/HSUPA
  • Wireless
  • GPS
  • 5-Megapixel Camera
  • Accelerometer

We just can’t wait for Nokia to launch its first Symbian^3 based phone. From the videos and pictures of Symbian^3 released last week during the MWC 2010, Symbian^3 brings the much needed improvement to the OS.
