Samsung tries to attack Apple with Stylus

Samsung decided to take the tech fight with Apple beyond courts and have gotten nasty with their Ads. In the latest installation of Anti-Apple ad Samsung again tries to make fun of Apple fan boys, again.

The timing couldn’t be more perfect. Samsung decided to air the ad during Super Bowl which definitely would have made sure millions of views on the ad. But the theme of the ad? A device with a Stylus is the one to lust for. That shouldn’t have gone well with Apple fan boys. We already know Steve Jobs thoughts on Stylus where he famously said, ” Who wants a stylus. Yuck!” and “the best pointing device in the world is the one we are born with — our fingers”.

Check out the ad:

Although Samsung’s Galaxy Note which comes with a stylus isn’t just a touch screen navigating device. It comes with its own SDK and developers can make use of the stylus whichever way they want. But will that convert hardcore Apple fan boys to take a U-turn? Going from general Twitter response, it seems no.. and a big NO.

So how much did Samsung spend on the ad?

According to BGR, it seems like Samsung spent about $10 million for the ad spot for a 90 second commercial.
