Samsung won’t hold a press conference at MWC 2012

In a relatively shocking news, Samsung has confirmed to PCMag that they won’t be hosting any press conference at the Mobile World Congress 2012 held in barcelona later this month.

Samsung already made it clear a couple of days ago that we won’t see the most anticipated mobile device — Samsung Galaxy S III at the MWC 2012. This does not mean that Samsung won’t introduce new devices at the MWC 2012, we still would be seeing new devices just not the flagship model and no flashy presentations.

“Samsung confirmed that they are not hosting a press conference at Mobile World Congress, but Samsung is looking forward to introducing and demonstrating exciting new mobile products at Mobile World Congress 2012.”

Recently Microsoft announced their last ever presence at the CES 2012, held in Las Vegas. Companies seems to be getting away from trade shows and common launch platform and adopting the Apple away of hosting their own launch show.
