Spotify For Symbian Updates To Version 0.3.23: Adds Suggested Artists

The online music streaming site Spotify, has updated its Symbian client to version 0.3.23 from its previous version 0.3.22. Apart from removal of the custom keypad and integration of the N97 native text input screen it has integrated a new feature called as suggested similar artists according to your playlist.

However, rival companies like Last.fm already sports this feature and lets user find new artists based on your music taste.

Spotify, in Jan released a Press Release stating that it has now 250,000 paid subscribers – Spotify’s premium service. It’s safe to assume at least 10% of them would use their Symbian based phone to access music.

We have been hoping for the client to work on landscape mode too but it doesn’t, as of yet. Hopefully we will get it in the next update.
