Last we saw Windows 3.11 running on Nokia N900, but seriously who wants to use it? Then we saw Android 2.2 ported on the same device but we saw many important functions missing.

We could see these type of high tech stuff only in some sci-fi hollywood movies. But not anymore.

We have already seen Nokia N900 hacked to run Windows 3.11. Now hackers have managed to port Android 2.2 a.k.a Froyo on the monster Geeky device.

Nokia Ovi Suite has just got an update to version 2.2.

Nokia has finally launched the much anticipated device Nokia N900 in India.

Nokia launched its internet tablet which had a phone feature inbuilt in it somewhere, in November ’09. Now its been almost five months and Reuters reports that Nokia sold off less than 100,000 devices in those five months.

It was just last week that Nokia upgraded the firmware of Nokia N900 to PR1.2 and added Skype video call feature to it. Now it is rumored that Skype is coming up with new features for N900.

Nokia N900 which is available for purchase since November’09 and Nokia N8 which is available since April’10, will soon be available in India according to status update by Nokia Messaging India on Facebook.

Nokia has finally rolled out the much anticipated firmware upgrade for the Nokia N900. Though, it was earlier rumored that the update will be rolled out on Wednesday, few lucky one’s sitting in the UK have started receiving the update.
