On my Windows desktop and Laptop, VLC player is my major video/music player. Mostly because of the numerous video/music extensions that it can play. Now these uber geeky guys have ported VLC player on Symbian using Nokia’s QT main interface.

Nokia released a new version of Qt port framework on Wednesday. The best of this new framework is, it supports various platforms. Thus, it can be used to create apps for various platforms like Symbian, S60 and Windows Phones.
