Vodafone’s New GPRS Plan: Get 2GB for just Rs 95 a month

Vodafone has launched a new Rs 95 GPRS plan in order to counter the popular Rs 98 Airtel Super GPRS Plan.

Under this new plan, customers can get access to unlimited internet access on their phone with a FUP (Fair Usage Policy) of 2GB per month.

However when we contacted the Vodafone officials enquiring about this plan, they told us that this offer is not publicly available as of now and is available to only selected prepaid customers whoever has received an intimation of this plan via SMS.

Therefore, if you are one of those lucky ones who has got an intimation of the plan via SMS, then head over to any Vodafone Dealer Shop and recharge for Rs 95 to activate this amazing plan.

    Nope. I just asked them. It is not available for Postpaid customers.

    Damn!! That's a bad news for postpaid customer. At times I think I should have stick to Pre-paid once. Since most of the offer come for Pre Paid customer. :|

    This is exactly why I never go for postpaid! these telecom guys implement all good Internet plans only for prepaid. But all the good voice plan goes to postpaid.

    well, since it is prepaid, you wont be able to do any browsing after 2GB :) or in rare cases, your account may go into negative balance.

    There are similar plans in airtel, tatadocomo, aircel as well.. which one will you recommend. Is anyone true unlimited plan without fair usage policy….

    I have heard Aircel offers truely unlimited. But I'm sure even that must have some FUP. You can still check out with them though.

    though vodafone is gud in services bt still Airtel internet speed is far better than that of Airtel….
    In vodafone u might face the problem of irregular sessions & ur internet connection may go down again again testing ur patience. I would say before going for 95 plan, activate Rs 4/40 MB plan for 1 day & experience the rest……

    This plan is actually disgusting … They charge you a big amount and drain your balance if you download or upload anything … Having a smartphone ?? Never take this plan !!

    Very nice information and just now i called to customer care and verified about this plan and they told that now a days this plan is for all the people who are using NORMAL handset [ not for SMART phones ] , which is a BULLSHIT plan as in normal mobiles though out the month if u access also u cont reach more than 250MB/month.
