However Sadly BlackBerry Curve 8300/8310/8320 will be missing the bus, the reason being being given as “Insufficient Memory” since all these phones have only 64MB of Internal Memory and according to an article on Blackberry’s website, “To optimize the BlackBerry smartphone user experience with BlackBerry Device Software 5.0, BlackBerry smartphones must have more than 64MB of memory to support this version of BlackBerry Device Software”.

Also point to note is that there’s no surety that all wireless service providers will support BlackBerry Device Software 5.0 on all of the BlackBerry smartphones mentioned above, as some wireless service providers will not carry all of these BlackBerry smartphone models, or may choose not to provide BlackBerry Device Software 5.0 for all of their BlackBerry smartphone models, so you will to check with your service provider to determine the availability of BlackBerry Device Software 5.0 for your Phone.
