Windows Phone Tango boasts increased app limit for multitasking
While Windows Phone Tango device limitations were out early this month, the Tango update also brings few improvements to the OS.
Members of Xda forum have managed to get their hands on Tango and have noticed a bump in running apps from 5 to 8 for Multitasking. While the boost is too small, it’s definitely a welcome change. Apart from that, Tango update also brings better MMS support, and increased memory efficiency as the latest 8773 platform build uses only 122MB of RAM versus the 153MB used in earlier builds, and maps that rotate with current direction.
Microsoft is expected to launch its Windows Phone Tango phone in China tomorrow and Nokia’s Windows Phone Tango based devices are expected to hit the market soon.
